    The country's prawn industry would never be sustainable unless more environment-friendly regulations are put in place. "To achieve long-term sustainability, the shrimp industry must seriously consider its effects on the environment," said Jurgenne Honculada Primavera, a scientist at the aquaculture department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (Seafdec).
