After rice, corn and sugar, the Department of Agriculture is proposing the importation of about 500 million bangus (milkfish) fingerling worth P275 million. Agriculture Secretary Roberto Sebastian said the move is intended to help the local fishpond industry and counter the rising prices of fish in the wake of a shortage.
