Good news for Filipinos who rhapsodize over seabass, the highly prized apahap which is usually the piece de resistance in banquets or festive tables. Apart from its abundance in local waters, apahap can now be bred and cultured in captivity, thanks to studies conducted by various research institutions, including the Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Development (PCAMRD).
