A Japanese lawyer who also holds a fisheries degree is the new deputy chief of a Philippine government-hosted fisheries center based here. Yasuho Tadokoro, from Chiba City, will serve as second top man of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec-AQD) until May 1998.
