    There's a big market and demand for our local mudcrab, notably the king crab (Scylla oceanica or alimango) but the Philippines currently can not supply this demand. It was gathered that the Philippines produces some 10,000 tons a year of these delicious large and fast-growing crabs which are a favorite in Hongkong, Japan and the United States.
