Former UPV dean appointed to PRB for fisheries

Dr. Carlos C. Baylon, former Dean and a retired Professor of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences in UP Visayas, is the new member of the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Fisheries. Dr. Baylon formally took his oath of office for a term of three years before Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) chairman Teofilo S. Pilando Jr. on Feb 28, 2022 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City. Dr. Baylon was accompanied by his wife, Dr Juliana C. Baylon, a professor of the Division of Biological Sciences of UPV’s College of Arts and Sciences.
