The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 7 and its partners will mark 2015 World Environment Day (WED) on June 5 by simultaneously planting some 25,000 mangrove propagules in nine coastal areas in the region. The celebration is themed "Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with care." Over 700 volunteers from local governemnts and industry, students and DENR personnel will take part in the activity.
