    A Cyprus-flagged dredging vessel and a local cargo vessel collided at the South Harbor anchorage, 100 meters away from the Baseco Beach, Tondo, Manila, Thursday dawn. Reports released by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said the incident involved foreign dredger BKM 104, and MV Palawan Pearl. The collision transpired at around 2:10 am. The PCG said dredger BKM 104 was contracted for dredging and other land development activity for the construction of the New Manila Airport.
