Four members of a family that was reported missing onboard a motor banca that traveled from Sapatos Gamay to Bangkal, Carles in Iloilo were rescued. The Philippines Coast Guard (PCG) rescued Romeo Bataican, Rhoda Moncillo, and Romelyn Bataican at Panguirangan Balud, Masbate. They are confined to a hospital in Masbate. RB Bataican, 5, was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
