The deportation was pursuant to the summary deportation order dated May 13, 2014, for illegally entering the country without inspection and admission and for poaching in Philippine waters. The maritime police caught them poaching near Hasa-Hasa Shoal, also called Half Moon Shoal, in April 2014. More than 350 live and dead turtles were found in their possession. | en |
