    Excerpt
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) deported last Thursday nine Chinese fishermen caught poaching and taking hundreds of endangered giant sea turtles from Hasa-Hasa Shoal in the West Philippine Sea last year. The deportation was pursuant to the summary deportation order dated May 13, 2014, for illegally entering the country without inspection and admission and for poaching in Philippine waters. The maritime police caught them poaching near Hasa-Hasa Shoal, also called Half Moon Shoal, in April 2014. More than 350 live and dead turtles were found in their possession.
