The country has stepped up maritime exercises and sovereignty patrols in the West Philippine Sea (WPS), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Sunday, April 25. PCG spokesperson Commodore Armand Balilo said the BRP Gabriela Silang and BRP Sidangan have started their maritime training near Bajo de Masinloc, Zambales on Saturday, April 24.
