    The public may enjoy summer swimming at the Manila Bay but at the rate toilet wastes are being dumped into the bay, this would take “several years” from now. Deputy Speaker and Buhay Partylist Rep. Lito Atienza made this assertion as he warned people taking a dip into the bay are seriously endangering themselves from the “very high fecal coliform level” of this body of water. Atienza said practically nothing has been done by Metro Manila water and sewerage system concessionaires on this problem.
