    Excerpt
After a three-month ban, fishing of three different species at the Visayan Sea has resumed. The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) declared last February 15 that the vast Visayan Sea is now open to fish for sardine, mackerel and herring species. Aparri added the ban was put in place for these three fish species to reproduce.
