Milkfish bone ("tinik") is not only good for cats. It can be ground and made into calcium-rich and protein-packed "polvoron," said Dr. Laurentina Calmorin of the Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College (NIPSC) in Estancia, Iloilo. "Polvoron" is a native dessert in powder form consumed during fiestas and parties.
