₱70-M Coast Guard radar stations to go up in Bacolod, Bayawan cities

A new Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) building, including a radar station amounting to P70 million, will soon be constructed at the ports here and in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental. Commander Ludovico Librilla Jr., newly-assigned deputy commander of Headquarters PCG District Southern Visayas based in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, said the construction of the project at Bacolod Real Estate Development Corp. (Bredco) port here will cost about P10 million while P60 million will be allotted in Bayawan City. Both will be funded by the national headquarters, he added.
