Here's good news for the aquaculture sector. Credit assistance will be provided by the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) to qualified farmers and fisherfolk and small and medium industries that will adopt technologies generated by two fisheries institutions. The LBP made the commitment in a memorandum of agreement entered into with the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) based here and the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR).
