Ibajay town here will compete for the record of having the largest mangrove tree in Asia. Ibajay Mayor Lulu Miraflores said a group of Japanese experts arrived recently to document the mangrove found in the boundary of Brgy. Bugtong Bato and a nearby village. The experts will bring samples of mangrove specie to Japan for study.
