Iloilo eyes ₱500-M agri-aqua ventures

The agriculture and aquatic sectors in Iloilo province are eyeing P500 million in investments. Velma Jane Cubing-Lao of the Iloilo Provincial Planning and Development Office said prospective investments were seen after the 1st Agri-Aqua Investment Forum in Iloilo City. Organized by the Panay Organic Producers Association (POPA), the November 9-10 forum was meant to strengthen investments for agri-aqua sectors in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, and Iloilo provinces.
