The MVP Group Tulong Kapatid consortium has consolidated resources to rebuild coastal communities in the province of Capiz that were devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda. The PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) took the lead in the initiative after the Office of the Presidential Assistant for rehabilitation and Recovery designated MVP Group Tulong Kapatid as the "development sponsor" of the province in the aftermath of Yolanda. PSF initially turned over 35 fishing boats to the province's fisher folk on behalf of all the companies under the PLDT Group and Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) during the fluvial parade in Roxas City held recently as part of the celebration of Capiztahan 2014.en
