    Excerpt
The presence of red tide in the city waters has affected the livelihood of about 3, 000 fisherfolk from 12 coastal barangays here. City agriculturist Goldwyn Nifras said the names of the affected fisherfolk were submitted to the city's Department of Social Services and Development which is tasked to process their financial assistance. The city government will give 2,000 to each family of fisherfolk affected by red tide, said Nifras.
