The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Region 1 yesterday warned the public against consuming shellfish taken from the coastal waters of Bolinao and Anda towns in Pangasinan, as samples gathered there were found positive for red tide toxin. BFAR regional director Nestor Domenden said this was based on the advisory under Shellfish Bulletin No. 06 series of 2014.
