Duterte to China: Resolve sea row based on int'l law

President Rodrigo Duterte told a senior Chinese official that disputes in the South China Sea must be resolved in accordance with international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (Unclos), Malacañang said on Saturday. The President made the statement to China’s Defense Minister Wei Fenghe, who paid a courtesy call on him at the Palace on Friday while on a visit to Manila.
