    The coastal waters of Aklan province remain free from the red tide toxins, according to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). In an advisory addressed to Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores, the BFAR-Aklan assured that all types of shellfish from the province were safe for human consumption.
