The city government yesterday distributed bancas to fishermen as part of its livelihood program for the marginalized sector. Of the 90 bancas, 30 each were given to fishermen in the coastal villages of Salapingao and Carael, 25 in Calmay and one each in Lucao, Bonuan Gueset and Tebeng. Two bancas were turned over to the city agriculture office for its river cleanup drive.
