The First National Congress on Philippine Lakes (LAKECON 2003) will be held on Nov. 25-28 at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in Tagaytay City. The four-day congress aims to identify major lake-specific issues that will serve as inputs for research and development (R&D) planning and advisory; identify research gaps in lake resource management; and come up with a national agenda on lake resource management.
