    Dr. Susan Siar, Ph.D., environmental sociology specialist from Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) in Tigbauan, Iloilo told Panay News she makes studies and recommendations on how to implement sustainable aquaculture in a mangrove area managed by a strong federated People's Organizations (POs) here. Siar was present during the recent celebration of People's Day and Ocean Month at the 531.44-hectare Northern Iloilo Mangrove Rehabilitation Subproject of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Bancal Bay.
