A modern biotechnology laboratory has been built in this scenic seaside town 24 kilometers west of Iloilo City. Construction of the P431-million, Japanese government-funded Laboratory for Advanced Aquaculture Technologies within the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) Complex was completed this month.
