The government-run Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) based here will soon train faculty and staff members of a state university in aquaculture research and development. Officials of SEAFDEC and Cavite State University-Naic Campus recently signed a memorandum of agreement to train the university's scholars for a period of three years. Signatories to the agreement include SEAFDEC's aquaculture department chief Dr. Rolando Platon and Dr. Hernando Robles, the university's superintendent.
