    A P431-million biotechnology laboratory, which was turned over by the Japanese government to the agriculture department last month, is expected to boost the country's aquaculture industry. Agriculture Secretary Luis Lorenzo Jr. said that what comes next to having the laboratory is putting of the technologies into use. The laboratory complex is housed at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) Aquaculture Department in Tigbauan town, 20km south of this city.
