Three months after closing due to the threat of the coronavirus disease, the Pasil Fish Market is set to reopen on Aug. 15, 2020. Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella ordered the temporary closure of the market last May 2 after cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) spiked in Barangays Pasil and Suba. Market Administrator Irvin Cabales said around 200 ambulant vendors and retailers will be selling again.
