    The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) is eyeing to fund a P150 million 5-hectare port in Mati City. Lawyer Glen A. Pangapalan, PFDA General Manager, said the funding will be divided into two P75 million multi-year implementation between 2021 to 2020. Pangapalan said during a meeting with Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat that the port, located at Purok Calagundian in Madang, Barangay Central, aims to strengthen the fish supply in Mindanao along with General Santos and Davao as mother ports in Davao Region together with Malalag, Panabo, Mati and Tagum.
