Illegal fishers caught

Authorities arrested 27 crew members of a fishing boat for encroachment in the coastal municipality of Cauayan yesterday. The crew members were onboard FB Aquaking Dos, which was caught within the municipal waters 5.7 kilometers off the coast of Brgy. Poblacion, Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. said. Information from the Office of the Governor said the fishing boat's skipper was Nelson Aloba while its engineer was Nelson Parpado. The owner was Erwin Lim.
