Microalgae paste is produced from four commonly used microalgae species in aquaculture - Tetraselmis sp., Nannochloropsis sp., Chaetoceros calcitrans, and Chlorella vulgaris. The availability of local algae paste as an alternative to live microalgae is an advantage to the local aquaculture industry.en
