The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region 7 has turned over P33 million to the Cebu provincial government as financial assistance for the rehabilitation of seaweed and Aquafarms in northern Cebu towns that were damaged by super typhoon "Yolanda" last year. BFAR-7 director Andress Bojos handed over the check Wednesday to Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale at the Cebu Capitol. The amount would be used to purchase seaweed seedlings.
