Around 30 fisherfolks of Dumangas, Iloilo are recipients of a P100,000-funding from Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano to jumpstart their own small and medium enterprise (SME) venture. Cayetano said the Punta Lucaran Fisherfolks Association of Brgy. Ermita, Dumangas is one of the two beneficiaries of his Presyo, Trabaho, Kita program or more popularly known as PTK. In a talk with fisherfolks Sunday, Cayetano said PTK is a campaign against the usurious “5-6 lending” scheme.
