As it celebrates its annual Bangus Festival this year, the City of Dagupan in Pangasinan takes its turn to shine in multisports events as it invites triathletes to take part in the Tri-Bangus @ Dagupan Invitational Triathlon, which fires off at 6:30 a.m. on April 13. A joint project of the Office of the City Mayor, the Pangasinan Triathlon Association, and the TBS Multisport Group, the race will be composed of a Sprint Distance (750 M swim – 20 Km bike – 5 Km run) and Standard Distance (1.5 Km swim – 40 Km bike – 10 Km run) courses that will start at the Bonuan Beach for the swim, pass AB Fernandez to De Venecia road for the bike stage, and cover the heart of the city at AB Fernandez before ending at CSI Mall.
