Small plane crash-lands at sea
Excerpt
A small private plane carrying three foreigners and a Filipino crash-landed at sea off a coastal village in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga on Tuesday. The four passengers — two Indians, a Nepalese and the Filipino — were heading to Dumaguete City in the central Philippine province of Negros Oriental when the twin-engine Piper PA-34 Seneca went down off Sinunuc village. Authorities said one of the plane’s engines malfunctioned and the pilots were forced to land the aircraft at sea to avoid crashing on the road.
