The incident happened 14.57 nautical miles southwest of La Playa Resort in Tayamaan, Mamburao in Occidental Mindoro, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Sunday. The fishermen were aboard Liberty 5 operated by the Irma Shipping and Trading Inc. and were bound for the Navotas fishport in Metro Manila from Tawi-Tawi.en
