    'Pawikan' released back to sea

    A green sea turtle accidentally caught by a fisherman here was released back to the sea. Regional Executive Director Jim Sampulna of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6 led the releasing, assisted by Lt. Col. Dominador Senador; Philippine Coast Guard Iloilo station commander. The marine turtle was caught in a fish trap set up in the waters of Sitio Lusaran, Brgy. La Paz, Nueva Valencia town.
