BFAR-6 regional director Drusila Esther Bayate said that for this year, the Department of Agriculture bureau will strictly enforce the Closed Season in the Visayan Sea to conserve sardines, herrings and mackerels. She said the fishermen in the region are now more open with the fishing ban in the Visayan Sea for a period of three months.en
