    Excerpt
A group's planned 30-day voyage to Philippine-held territories in South China Sea must not be allowed, a military official said on Thursday. "I told them it's uncalled for. Why? Because it's not consistent [with] the national policy that we should not do activities that would tend to escalate the tension," Armed Forces Western Mindanao Command chief Vice Admiral Alexander Lopez said, referring to a meeting he had with Kalayaan Atin Ito on Tuesday in Palawan. He said the group's voyage may also be detrimental to the case the Philippines filed with a United Nations arbitral court contesting China's claim over the disputed territories.
