This quarantine period when there are very few tourists in Boracay is the best time for concerned government agencies such as the Department of Public Works and Highways and Department of Environment and Natural Resources to finally finish the island's massive rehabilitation. They should take advantage of Prez Du30's recent order extending the term of Boracay Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)-until May 8, 2021. The rehab started in 2018 yet but up to now several establishments in Boracay, a world-famous beach destination, have yet to comply with the beach and road easement protocols.
