    Excerpt
A hydro power company paid P200,000 to the Pollution Adjudication Board. Hedcor Sabangan Inc. said it abided by the decision of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Pollution Adjudication Board (DENR-PAB) for supposed violations of the Clean Water Act during the construction of the Sabangan hydropower plant. The payment was made due to a water pollution control and abatement case which involved an alleged unauthorized dumping of soil to the Chico River.
