    Excerpt
To ensure the continuous supply of food amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) gave out 260,000 fingerlings to fisherfolks in the region. Milagros Morales, BFAR Region 2 director, said the dispersal-production activity was in collaboration with the Nueva Vizcaya provincial fisheries office and Cagayan Valley Research Outreach Station for Freshwater Resources. Morales said 180,000 tilapia fingerlings were distributed to 20 individuals and seven groups in this town, all beneficiaries of the Land Bank of the Philippines-Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund.
