    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) provided livelihood aid to fisherfolks in Bataan to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis in their produce. BFAR Regional Director Wilfredo Cruz said the aid provided to fish farmers in some towns in the province were in the form of fingerling input assistance and stock enhancement. “It was a busy but productive week for BFAR Central Luzon as it continued to pay tribute to the selfless fisherfolk for their labors and toils to provide food for the Filipinos especially amid the ongoing health crisis,” he added.
