    Excerpt
Tourism businesses looking to invest in San Vicente, Palawan are now expected to follow a set of guidelines aimed at ensuring the smooth growth of the industry in the area. Businesses would have to strictly follow a 30-meter no-build buffer zone for beachfront establishments. For the next 20 meters, only removable structures will be allowed to be constructed to make the developments in the area compliant to international standards. All these features form part of a master plan for the 883-hectare property in San Vicente that covers four barangays and a 14-kilometer beachfront, the longest in the country.
