Felix Taguba, DENR Region 2 assistant director for technical services, said the 12 watershed areas in the region are part of the 131 priority critical watersheds in the country targeted for the reforestation program this year. Taguba said these 131 critical watersheds support the national irrigation systems, 12 of which in Region 2 cover some 870,013 hectares.en
