    Excerpt
Various youth groups in the country are set to converge in Palawan on Nov. 30 to begin a month-long “freedom voyage” to seven islets in the West Philippine Sea occupied by Filipino troops and are being claimed by China. The “Kalayaan Atin Ito Movement,” which claims to have 10,000 members, plans to end its “freedom voyage” at the Pag-asa Island, the seat of government of Kalayaan town, a fifth class municipality of Palawan province. The group announced its plan at the Quezon City Memorial Circle yesterday. Organizers said they are accepting donations in cash or in kind to help them in their endeavor. They gave no further details, like what type of boats to use for their “freedom voyage” in waters where presence of Chinese maritime vessels and even naval ships is increasing.
