The Provincial Fishery Office through the “Fish on Wheels” program of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is bringing fish products directly to the municipalities during the Luzonwide Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). Arnulfo Taberna, Provincial Fish Officer –designate, said the project aims to ensure the availability of fish supply for the communities with the restricted travel and movements during the ECQ. Majority of fish supply in the province come mainly from the lowland areas. Tilapia or the so called chiclid fish is also sourced from Ambuclao in Bokod.
